On my way home from a long trip & my truck had an issue at midnight along the interstate 20 miles from home. The driver called me right back and they were there within an hour to get me home safely. The driver, Rich, I believe was his name, was friendly and professional. We even knew a lot of the same people! Z-1 is a great local business! I would never hesitate to use them for my auto needs.

Apparently, we have a very slow power steering leak on our oldest car. Early every winter the power steering on that car grinds on startup. I stop by Z-1 (no appointment) and in a few minutes they have it topped off for another year. So convenient! I very much appreciate their making it so easy.

If there were 10 stars I'd give them an 11!! This place is small town, rural America at its finest. My family and I were traveling from St. Louis, MO to Ann Arbor, MI and had a minor accident that left our rented Nissan pathfinder with a hissing sound and some steam coming from the engine. We stopped here for help to ensure the car was safe to drive and this place took the time to put the car on a rack, checked the radiator and the engine and said it was the AC condenser but aside from losing our AC the car was safe to drive. The unbelievable part is they didn't charge us. We drove the rest of the way without incident (other than having to drive with the windows down). It's hard to find this level of honest professional service anymore. I cannot thank them enough for making a potential disaster into a renewed faith in human compassion.

Fuel pump went bad the day before Thanksgiving at McDonalds passing through town at 2:30 in the afternoon with my family of 6. Within 15 min of calling them, they showed up, towed my van and used their own SUV to take my kids to the shop. Above and beyond! They had the fuel pump ordered, replaced and my van running in 2.5 hours. Those guys are heros! We also may or may not have eaten most of their complimentary chocolate.

THIS TOWING SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. sister in law and i are from kansas city and broke down at the loves in town. we were on our way to a concert in indy. we were panicking about missing the concert and wasting the gas driving that far for nothing.. WELL we called them and we got towed and fixed in 20 MINUTES!!!! all around and the price was really good too!!! staff was super super super friendly and super understanding about why we were freaking out. they let us chat their ear off about Greta Van Fleet and i hope they listen to them. i hope the employees see this and realize how much their work was appreciated cause i don't even think i could put into words how grateful we were to be helped and fixed so fast in a friendly manner. if you need a towing company in illinois then this is the one for sure!!!!

Z-1 is consistently fair, honest, responsive, and reasonably quick on any repairs we bring to them. We don't drive new cars, so we occasionally have to bring our vehicles in for significant repairs. Josh always walks us through the estimates and helps us prioritize the repairs based on cost and need. We have and will continue to use them as long as we stay in the area, almost exclusively because of trust, customer service, and quality of work.

Z-1 Automotive is really amazing! Zoey took care of us and arranged for a tow truck after our car just died on Rt. 127. Our tow driver was super nice and extremely helpful. He stayed after hours while we waited for our ride to come pick us up. The next day they put our car on he scanner and found out it was a dirty sensor and got out car running again. At every step we were treated so kindly, the staff was so helpful, and we felt so fortunate to be in the hands of automotive professionals. There is a reason they're so busy... they're truly wonderful! Just can't say enough good things about Z-1 Automotive. Great folks who really care, and are extremely professional. Thanks so much Z-1!

This place was a lifesaver! My family and I were traveling from Missouri to Indiana for our sons wedding. We were on a tight time crunch, and about four hours away from our destination, when our battery light came on. It was 2 PM and we found out our alternator was not working. We needed an emergency repair and no one could work us in but Z1 came to the rescue! They were truly an answer to our prayers. They fixed our car and were extremely kind. Would definitely recommend this company over and over again!

I was passing my on I-70 and hit road debris that ripped the pan right off the bottom of my transmission. Coming from the west coast and heading to the east coast I felt like I would now be stranded in the middle of the country. Man was I wrong. AAA sent Z-1 driver and mechanic Adrian who was very efficient, professional, and courteous. He took me to his shop and I spoke with the shops owner. These guys were super honest and let me know that it would be hard to find the parts last minute and they, like many in town, were up to their eyeballls in work. Instead of leaving it at that, basically pound sand (total California move), these guys called all around town on the spot and plead my case for me. While they were not able to directly fix my car, they made calls and had me in the front of the line at the dealer, parts ready, and towed me there without so much as a thought. I was back on the road in 2 hours. Huge thanks to Z-1 for restoring my faith in humanity and decency. You guys really saved me and I wish nothing but success for you. Thank you!

Had my car towed home today as it broke down on the interstate. Everyone was very nice and I thought the price was reasonable considering it was 60 miles one way to get me and my car home. Driver was very professional and nice. We talked the whole way home and I probably could have talked a few hours more as he had very interesting stories and we had similar interests. I would give them 10 stars if possible! I was traveling from St Louis to IN, alone, and started hearing noises underneath my car. I took the first exit and called my husband to look on the internet and find a mechanic near my location. He found Z1 so I went directly to their business. They immediately checked out my car, found the problem, fixed it and I was back on the road quickly. Thank you Z1! Wish they were closer to St Louis, I would use them exclusively!

I live 2hours away, my son is in college at Greenville. His truck was leaking coolant everywhere. I set up repairs over the phone. Staff very friendly, the whole process was great. After checking truck out it needed radiator, hoses, thermostat housing, and thermostat. They gave me a quote over the phone. Reasonable price, i said go ahead without a second thought. Repairs done fast and correct. For a short notice of getting my truck in they did great. If you need repairs on your car go here. I recommend this shop to everyone. No need to look elsewhere, this is where to go. I would give more stars if i could. I live 2hours away and was able to trust them with my truck without even seeing it done. You can to. We were traveling through town on the interstate when our car service light came on. Luckily we were within miles from Z-1 Automotive. Turns out we needed a new alternator, which is not a quick job. They were able to squeeze us in last minute so we could get back on the road. Josh was helpful and explained everything very thoroughly. The shop is clean and they were able to even accommodate us with cartoons in the waiting room for our kiddos! We highly recommend Z-1 Automotive.

Z-1 is my go to place for all my vehicles and tires, When you buy tires and later get an oil change they rotate them for free. They have been great and back their work. The people there have always got the job done. Now if was to say a con. Make sure they put the wheel caps back on. Do a walk around, they are always busy. If you can leave the car their a day or two before if they will let you sometimes they get it done early.

We have been taking our cars to Z-1 for nearly 19 years and we have always been more than satisfied with their service! From routine service like oil changes to towing our car late on a rainy Friday night, cleaning out chopped up mice in our AC fan on a hot day, tracking down an unheard of issue with our brakes - they have always been there to keep our vehicles running and keep us safe on the roads. everyone in the shop is friendly and professional. We recently were in the shop when a young man on his way home for Christmas had an expensive breakdown and did not know how he was going to pay for the parts and labor to get his car running again. Josh went above and beyond and generously found a way to get the car repaired so the young man could get back on the road. great mechanics and great people!
