Z-1 Automotive Inc. was founded in 1996 by Richard Zbinden as a one-man shop with a vision for honest, high-quality service in Greenville, IL since 1996. In 2008, due to steady growth, we moved from a small shop outside of Greenville to our current facility right off IL Route 127 in town. We now employ 14 people and continue to expand our services and capabilities. Today we are a 9-bay shop equipped with all of the modern tools and technology as well as our team of highly trained technicians who are equipped to handle a wide range of automotive needs, from routine maintenance to major repairs.

At our shop, all of our technicians are recognized as Automotive Technology Specialists-not just mechanics. We invest in continuous, year-round training to ensure our team stays current with the latest vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. This ongoing education keeps us ahead of the competition, especially as the number of hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs) on the road continues to grow.
